Ritual of Le Sac - a film with a SaaWee music narrative describing the fish like experience of fetus inside the womb. This project was inspired by my personal journey of becoming a mom. Carrying and growing a life inside me helped me to re-discover the woman in me in many wondrous ways. During pregnancy, I felt cared for by all people on the street, at grocery stores, whether by friends, neighbors, or strangers. There was a gentleness and curiosity towards me for carrying a life inside me. As a woman who is carrying a baby, I got to re-discover humanity, and our innate ability and desire to care for human life. This in return helped me to tune into my empathetic capacity and inspired me to imagine what it would be like for a baby to be in veil, inside for 10 months and then meet the world. As a woman, a facilitator, and a mediator,
I wanted to tell the story. My wish is that this project would open the door to deeply empathize with children and honor them and treat them as they would respect adults.
